Of the 100 women serving in the United States congress, only 15 are Black women.

Of the 500 CEO’s of Fortune 500 companies, only 2 are Black women. Most Black women are the head of their households, but they only earn 68 cents of each dollar that a man earns.

The oppressive system that Aya, Inc. works to dismantle is that which creates the conditions of the aforementioned statics, opportunity for women of color. We work to build relationships among budding leaders, develop and heighten confidence in young women, and provide professional training so that they may take themselves and others around them to the next level in their careers.
